Kale Pasta

THIS IS MY FAVORITE DISH. At one point I made it at least once a week. I haven't made it in a while though, so I thought I would today. This one is slightly different then usual. (slightly healthier. slightly better) The pasta I used was gluten-free. In case anyone is interested in that sort of thing. The recipe is fairly simple and didn't take much time at all.

Ingredients:
1 cup of Fusilli Pasta
1 cup of Penne Pasta
1 cup of kale
1/4 cup of tomato basil pasta sauce
1/2 cup mixed chopped vegetables (carrots, green beans, corn, peas, etc...)
Oil
Salt

Directions:
Bring water to a boil. Pour in pasta contents. Add a bit of salt and oil to the water, if desired. Turn down heat to low. Stir occasionally, and check to see when pasta is soft. Don't let over cook. Strain water out of pan. Turn heat slightly up. Add in kale and vegetables. Add pasta sauce. Stir until evenly distributed, and thoroughly heated. Serve warm. (duh)

Total time: approximately fifteen minutes (preparation plus cooking)
Serves about two people.
