Black Bean Burgers Recipe

I MADE THIS A FEW WEEKS AGO, and I thought I'd try it again. I simplified the recipe a bit, and you should feel free to do the same.

Ingredients:
ONE can of drained black beans
ONE egg
HALF of a red pepper
HALF a cup of bread crumbs (I've used quinoa or oat flour instead)
FOURTH of a cup Carrots
FOURTH of a cup Celery
HALF a cup of kale (or spinach)
ONE tablespoon cumin
ONE tablespoon chili powder
(salt is an option-use at your own discretion)
[frankly you can choose whatever vegetables you want that go with it. These just happened to be my favorite]

Preparation:
Mash the black beans.
Chop up the pepper, carrots, and celery in a food processor.
Beat the egg.
Add the egg, vegetables, seasoning, and bread crumbs (or bread substitute) into mashed the black beans.
For the cooking you have a few options: you can grill it, fry it, or bake it. I chose to bake it (in a convection oven) so the way to do this is pretty simple. I foiled a pan, placed "burger portion" of black bean mix onto the pan, then baked it on 400 degrees for about twenty minutes. The cooking time and process may very depending on the style you choose.
