New Plays and New Things

I WROTE A PLAY! Actually I've written quite a few, but you wouldn't know that. This special piece of cheese was written almost two years ago. I've been editing it for that long too. Ridiculous, I know. But it's all "part of the process," as though pretentious a**holes say. This long gruesome process has not reached it's end even yet. I'm sick of it. Sick of it. Sick. Of. It. But hey, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, right? Or is that just the reflection of my optimism? Who could say. All I know is this baby is about ready to come out of the oven whether it wants to or not. No, I'm not pregnant. The only thing I'm giving birth to is this play. That was totally lame, yes and ever so cliche, but you get what I'm getting at, no? I didn't think so. Writers are so pretentious with their metaphors.

To put it simply, and in English: I wrote a play, and I'm doing stuff with it. Or about to. Or trying to. Or..,dreaming about it. Whatever. I have goals, and I'm making these goals gold. That was totally clever, please don't disregard that.

"So Chloe," you're probably thinking, "when is this little gem of yours seeing the light of day?" I couldn't tell you that. My goal is summer. Great things happen in summer. Great things happen year round. But REALLY great things happen in summer. Highlights, dehydration, tans, heatstroke, Netflix, Netflix, Netflix...and CINDER-HELLA. That's right my friends. Cinder-hella, my baby of two years is being expelled from the womb of WISDOM. Stay tuned. That is all.

Okay, okay I'll elaborate a bit more since you begged. The goal here is to stage this new original spin on the ever-so-over-told Grimm tale. For free. To the Portland Community. If you're in Portland you should probably be screaming, "I'm so in!" If you're not in Portland you'll most likely be filled with regret, unless...
